Christian Pastor Converts to Islam

Gould David was an Orthodox Christian for 45 years and served as a priest for two years before making a big change in 2024. While visiting Perth for his brother-in-law’s funeral, he stopped by a mosque and had a deep conversation with the imam. He was given a copy of the Quran, and as he read it, he started to see things differently. This led him to question his beliefs and search for the truth.

After reading the Quran and praying for guidance, he felt a strong connection to Islam. The teachings made sense to him in a way he had never felt before. When he returned home to Tasmania, he made the difficult decision to leave his position as a priest and accept Islam. He changed his name to Abdul Rahman and began a new chapter in his life.

His story is one of faith, courage, and transformation. Even though leaving behind his past was not easy, he found peace and purpose in his new journey. His experience is an inspiration to those who are searching for truth and understanding.
