Islam is not an individualistic religion; it possesses a strong social and communal aspect. One of the ways in which the community works towards change and creating a healthy society is through the Prophetic model of enjoining good and forbidding evil. It is the role of the people of knowledge to lead that effort and help identify what is beneficial and what is harmful for society.
